We’re three cartoonists who met at The New Yorker (we’re all regular contributors). We love drawing live, and we’re here to help you make your next event one to remember.
Hilary Fitzgerald Campbell
Hilary is a cartoonist, comedian, dancer and all around good time. She has been contributing cartoons to The New Yorker since 2016. Her debut graphic memoir, Murder Book, was published in 2021 by Andrews McMeel. She has illustrated books such as Are You My Uber? and Feminist Fight Club. She lives in Brooklyn with her dog and her vast collection of Law & Order DVDs.
Emily Flake
Emily is a cartoonist, writer, performer, and teacher. She has been cartooning for The New Yorker since 2008. She is the author of several books, including a creativity deck version of her popular workshop, Joke in a Box: How to Write and Draw Jokes (Andrews McMeel, 2023). She also writes for the screen, most recently for Stephen Soderbergh’s Command Z web series. She is the founder and operator of St. Nell’s, a humor writing residency for women and non-binary creators working in any comedic discipline in Williamsport, PA. She makes her home in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband, daughter, and disquietingly large cat.
Sofia Warren
Sofia was raised by wolves, but she’s mostly domesticated now. She’s been contributing cartoons to The New Yorker since 2017, and her illustration and animation clients include Cartier, HBOMax, Phillips, Sotheby’s, Squarespace, and Shopify. Her debut graphic memoir, Radical: My Year with a Socialist Senator, was named a best graphic novel of the year by Forbes, Comic Book Herald, and the Brooklyn Public Library. She teaches at Wesleyan University.

Personalized New Yorker Style Cartoons
Turn your life into a New Yorker style cartoon! Tell us a bit about you (how was your day? What’s a gripe you have lately? What’s something that happened to you this week?) and we’ll brainstorm together to come up with a gag cartoon based on your experience. Expect each cartoon to take around fifteen minutes.

Scene Sketching
Let us capture the vibe! We’ll walk around the space and sketch the scene as it happens. The ambience, the mingling, bits of fun dialogue: we’ll scribble it all down, leaving you with a unique memento of your special occasion.
